Texas Performing Arts offers so much more than what you see on our stages. You may not realize that University funding (just 15% of our budget) and ticket sales do not fully cover the cost of presenting the finest performing arts events from around the world or the many engagement programs we offer to the UT campus, Austin, and the Central Texas region. We rely on individuals – like you – to bridge this gap.

Your Texas Inner Circle donation supports the following:

- The broad range of engagement activities presented by our Campus and Community Engagement programs. These activities are an extension of the educational mission of The University and include pre-performance lectures, brown bag lunches, post-performance talkbacks, master classes, lecture demonstrations, in-school concerts, and campus-based youth performances.

- Funding to hire approximately 90 student employees who work in all departments of Texas Performing Arts. We provide our students with valuable educational experiences as part of their personal and professional development.

- Funding to provide discounted tickets for students to all Texas Performing Arts performances. Last year, we offered 20,000 $10 student tickets and now have the highest student attendance of any university research institution in the country. With your support, we plan to serve even more students during the 2011-2012 season.
