Support
Since ticket sales and state funding alone cover only 63% of our budget, Texas Performing Arts relies on the community to bridge the gap between generated revenue and budget demands (see chart below). Your charitable contributions ensure that we can continue to bring the best of the arts from around the world to our great city.
In addition to presenting world-class programming, Texas Performing Arts supports the academic, research and community outreach mission of The University of Texas by:
- Mentoring the next generation of artists and arts leaders through instruction in theater design, production, and technology; master classes with our touring professionals; and arts management internships for UT students.
- Developing and cultivating future audiences by making the performing arts accessible to thousands of young people through in-school performances; and providing affordable tickets to UT students as well as students and teachers from area schools and colleges.
- Helping to guarantee a secure future for the performing arts worldwide by commissioning new work. Universities are at the center of innovation, research and development in many fields and at university-based arts centers, like us, this is best achieved by supporting the development of new works of music, theatre and dance.
THREE WAYS TO BECOME INVOLVED
1) JOIN THE TEXAS INNER CIRCLE MEMBERSHIP PROGRAM
Our Texas Inner Circle members are a dynamic and exciting group of individuals and families who directly support annual operations and programs of Texas Performing Arts, such as Lifelong Learning and ArtesAméricas. Memberships range from $100 to $10,000. As a “thank you” for your generous support, you receive benefits designed to enhance your Texas Performing Arts experience.
2) BECOME A CORPORATE SPONSOR
Corporate sponsorships place corporate brands before a powerful and telling target market: the business, academic, and political leaders who are the decision-makers and trendsetters of Central Texas.
3) MAKE A CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTION
The artistic and community programs of Texas Performing Arts would not be possible without the generous support of local community members. Your gift helps guarantee the future of these programs and the continued excellence of Texas Performing Arts. Making a donation in someone’s name is also a thoughtful way to commemorate an occasion or someone dear to you.
Texas Performing Arts thanks all of our friends and supporters for their loyalty and enthusiastic support throughout the years. We invite you to join them and support the Texas Performing Arts today!
