VOLUNTEER STUDENT USHERS

A primary goal at Texas Performing Arts is to ensure that our guests have an enjoyable and memorable experience at our events. Whether taking tickets, handing out programs, greeting incoming patrons or assisting guests in finding their seats, our volunteers are the public face of Texas Performing Arts.

Any current student may be a volunteer student usher. To remain an active usher, students must:
• Participate in the training session given at the beginning of each long semester
• Volunteer for a minimum of three (3) events per semester
• Show up on time and with a smile

BECOME A VOLUNTEER!

We will be holding one New Student Usher Training Session for the Spring 2012 semester – mark your calendars for Monday, January 23rd from 5-6:30pm! We will meet in the lobby of Bass Concert Hall (‘PAC’ on campus maps) and talk through the basics of our program while touring the entire Bass Concert Hall facility. You must complete this training before beginning to usher at any of our venues. No need to RSVP, just show up and bring your friends! The next training after this one will happen sometime during the first two weeks of the fall 2012 semester.
