HOOK 'EM ARTS

GENERAL HOOK ‘EM ARTS INFO
Started in Spring 2007, the mission of Hook ‘em Arts is to increase student engagement and awareness of Texas Performing Arts at The University of Texas at Austin so that it becomes an integral component of campus life for all students.
Here’s a list of HEA activities to give you an idea of what we do:
• Attend exclusive Q&As and sound checks with touring artists
• Usher Texas Performing Arts shows and recruit new volunteer student ushers (For more information on volunteering, please visit the student volunteer page.)
• Receive inside info about student discounts and newly announced shows
• Get hands-on marketing and PR experience promoting performances
• Learn about career paths in arts administration and performance production
• Discover new ways for students to be involved with Texas Performing Arts
• Gain exclusive access to many other opportunities within Texas Performing Arts
