Texas Performing Arts is much more than a showplace for Fine Arts students and visiting performers. It is also a vital hub where students, faculty, and the Central Texas Community connect and share ideas.

We invite you to become involved with Texas Performing Arts as a patron, student employee, volunteer, or member of our student organization, Hook ‘em Arts.

DISCOUNTS

At Texas Performing Arts, it’s affordable and easy for students to take advantage of discounted $10 tickets to our season performances. We also offer the Texas Performing Arts Package which gives UT students first access to $10 concert and Broadway show tickets.

Hook ‘em Arts will meet Monday, February 6 at 5 p.m. in The Loft at Bass Concert Hall.

The Loft
The Loft is a new space for students on the 6th floor of the Bass Concert Hall lobby, and we’ll have events before and after select performances.

The Loft opens an hour and a half before each performance in Bass Concert Hall. Come check it out!

Wicked Loft Events
Join us in The Loft on Saturday, February 4 starting at 6:30 p.m. for Wicked Trivia! The winner will receive a signed Wicked poster.

Sing the songs of your favorite Broadway shows before Wicked with Karaoke Night in The Loft on Saturday, February 12 starting at 6:30 p.m.

Chamber Ensemble of the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra Loft Event
Enjoy a student musician in The Loft on Saturday, February 18 stating at 7 p.m.

Diavolo Dance Theater Loft Event
Show off your hidden talents in The Loft photo booth before Diavolo on February 23 and 24 starting at 6:30 p.m. Head back to The Loft after the performance for a TPAP-only talkback on February 24.

Max Raabe and the Palast Orchester Loft Event
Hook ‘em Arts presents a 1920s Great Gatsby party before Max Raabe on February 26! Dress in your favorite 1920s style and join us in The Loft starting at 6:30 p.m.
