The Intermission is Over
Please join us for a personal tour of the newly renovated Bass Concert Hall
We have planned two times when the public can see the great improvements we’ve made to the exterior, the hall, and our greatly expanded lobbies. No need to RSVP, just show up at the front entrance of the Performing Arts Center’s Bass Concert Hall at one of these two times:
Sunday, January 25th at 2:00 PM
Tuesday, January 27th at 6:00 PM
Tours last approximately 30 minutes. The front doors of Bass Concert Hall will be open approximately 30 minutes prior to each tour, and tours will start promptly at the appointed times.
Bass Concert Hall
Corner of 23rd Street and Robert Dedman Drive
The entrance faces south, across the street from the Darrell K Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium.
Paid parking is available in the San Jacinto or Manor Garages. Free parking is available on a first-come first-serve basis on weekends and after 5:45 on most campus streets.
View our map for parking details.
THE INTERMISSION IS OVER
Bass Concert Hall’s Grand Re-Opening Celebration
In May of 2007, The University of Texas at Austin Performing Arts Center closed its flagship venue, Bass Concert Hall, for an 18-month, $14.7 million renovation.
We have made major updates to the exterior facade, improved amenities for patrons, vastly improved acoustics in the hall, nearly doubled existing lobby space, and added a beautiful member lounge, a cafe for guests, and a top floor terrace overlooking campus.
On January 23, 2009 we re-open with a two-week celebration of diverse events to showcase all the things we present to Austin and the University of Texas at Austin community. World-Class Fine Arts. Major Concert Attractions. The Best of Broadway.
Please join us as we continue to Bring the world to Austin.
