From his early hits with the James Gang through to his tenure with the Eagles — as well as a successful solo career — Joe Walsh has remained one of the most colorful characters in rock & roll. Walsh brings a lifetime of hits to Texas Performing Arts’ Bass Concert Hall, Tuesday, October 11, with special guests Kenny Wayne Shepherd and Ray Wylie Hubbard.

Best known for his powerful guitar licks, Joe Walsh has entertained the masses and captivated his peers for more than three decades with such classics as “Funk #49,” “Rocky Mountain Way,” “In the City,” “All Night Long,” “Walk Away,” “Life’s Been Good,” and “Ordinary Average Guy.” The catalogue of songs is the veritable soundtrack of our lives. And, he hasn’t stopped yet, even after releasing “One Day at a Time” in 2005 on the Eagles Farewell I DVD and more recently releasing “Guilty of the Crime” and “Last Good Time in Town” on the 2007 Eagles Long Road Out of Eden CD.

Tickets go on sale Friday, September 9 at 10 a.m. at the following authorized ticket outlets, which include the Bass Concert Hall ticket office, most H-E-B stores and all Texas Box Office outlets, online at TexasPerformingArts.org, or by calling (512) 477-6060 or (800) 982-BEVO.
