Real guitars, real drums, real fun! Rich, Scott, Dave and Smitty – of the Emmy-winning Disney Channel TV series “Imagination Movers” – bring their 2012 Rock-O-Matic Tour to Bass Concert Hall, Friday, March 9!

Tickets for this evening of high-octane family fun go on sale Friday, October 28 at 10am at authorized ticket outlets, which include the Bass Concert Hall Box Office, most H-E-B stores, and all Texas Box Office outlets, online at TexasPerformingArts.org, or by calling (512) 477-6060 or (800) 982-BEVO.

The Movers were the highest-rated and most popular live family act of 2011. They combine danceable power pop songs with extremely catchy choruses to inspire audience participation. Their reputation of onstage silliness truly engages the littlest of kids along with their older siblings, parents, and grandparents. The Movers also pepper their live shows with musical references to their many inspirations, including U2, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jack Johnson, the Beastie Boys, among other classic and modern rockers.

The 2011 In A Big Warehouse tour garnered critical praise from fans including a 5 star rating on Ticketmaster. “The Movers show was in a word: AMAZING! So much fun, high energy, and a memory we will never forget. If you have a little one who loves the Movers, do not miss this show! We can’t wait for them to tour again.”

On the Rock-O-Matic tour, the guys will be playing all their favorite songs from their wildly popular TV series as well as debuting new material from their brand-new “Rock-O-Matic” CD/DVD.

The Imagination Movers began in 2003 as a rock band for kids in New Orleans and have grown into the stars of a hit television series seen in over 55 countries on the Disney Channel. On the show, the Movers star as four friends who work together in the Idea Warehouse to solve problems through creativity and teamwork. Their friends Nina and Warehouse Mouse are there to help along the way as the Movers brainstorm ideas and explore the Warehouse’s many magical rooms. Each episode features two or more original Movers songs.

In addition to winning an Emmy, a Common Sense Media Award, and many other honors, the Movers have also performed twice at the White House as well as on “Good Morning America,” “Live With Regis and Kelly” and “The View.”
