Luis Miguel has just announced he will be bringing his “Complices Tour 2008” to The Theatre at the Frank Erwin Center on October 15!

Known by many as “El Sol de México,” Luis Miguel is indisputably one of the most popular singers in Latin America and best known for his smooth vocals and romantic ballads. He will hit the road this fall to promote his highly anticipated album released this May, Complices, that sold almost 350,000 albums in just the first 24 hours of release.

Miguel, who only sings in Spanish, has won five Grammys, four Latin Grammys, and sold over 90 million albums to date worldwide! He has accumulated the second highest amount of No. 1 songs on Billboard’s Hot Latin Tracks, and was honored at the age of 26 with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Miguel recorded his first album, 1+1=2 Enamorados, in 1982 at the young age of 12. His next album, marking the shift from child singing prodigy to adult entertainer, was 20 Años (1990). Six of the singles simultaneously topped the charts in Mexico, and the album sold more than 600,000 copies in the first week. Miguel released three albums in the 1990s in the bolero style, a genre characterized by romantic themes and passionate vocals. His career reached unheard of heights with the release of Romance, the first in the bolero series, and the top-selling Spanish album of all-time.
