Levon Helm, legendary American rock musician and drummer (and often vocalist) for The Band is known for his deeply soulful, country-style voice, and powerful drumming style highlighted on many of The Band’s recordings, such as “The Weight”, “Up on Cripple Creek”, “Ophelia” and “The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down”. His 2007 solo album Dirt Farmer earned the Grammy Award® for Best Traditional Folk Album in February 2008, and in November of that year, Rolling Stone magazine ranked him among the 100 Greatest Singers of All Time.

Ray LaMontagne is touring in support of his fourth album, God Willin’ & the Creek Don’t Rise; and for the first time the singer/songwriter has defined himself within a band setting, rather than as a solo artist, performing as Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs. LaMontagne’s 2008 album Gossip in the Grain, debuted in the top five on the Billboard charts; garnered two 2010 Grammy nominations; earned him a coveted slot performing on Saturday Night Live; and continued the expansion of a highly-respected career that began with his first album, Trouble, in 2004.

The Secret Sisters will open.
