The Butler School of Music at the University of Texas at Austin is proud to host ClarinetFest® 2010. Nathan Williams and Richard MacDowell, clarinet professors at UT, are honored to be the Co-Artistic Directors of this year’s conference.

The ClarinetFest® 2010 roster of artists features great performers from all over the world. Special events include a tribute to Stanley Hasty who turns 90 years old in 2010, and a concert in memory of Mitchell Lurie. Also included are recitals, master classes, presentations on a wide variety of topics, competitions, memorial and tribute concerts, the premiere of the winning entry from the composition competition, an evening of concerto soloists with orchestra, the annual meeting of the I.C.A., clarinet quartets and choirs, jazz sessions, receptions, and more. We will keep you posted as plans and participants are finalized, so please stay tuned.
We hope you will begin making plans now to be a part of what promises to be a memorable ClarinetFest® 2010.
