UT Trombone Choir performance for Del Valle 8th grade students

Texas Performing Arts works closely with Del Valle ISD through our Performing Arts and Academic Collaborative (PAAC). PAAC is a multi-year, interdisciplinary program that integrates artistic performances with the middle and high school English curriculum in Del Valle ISD. Through this collaboration, Del Valle students experience the fine and performing arts in their schools and on the UT campus. Performances which were followed with a time for students to ask the performers questions.

The PAAC program began in the fall of 2006. The class of 2010 recently graduated with four years of experiencing three performances each year with related Language Arts lessons. We have revised the program to involve students each year who are in grades 7, 9, and 11 Previously we followed students in the classes of 2010, 2012, 2014, and 2016.
