Anton Kuerti is a pianist, music teacher, composer, and conductor. Since his performance of the Grieg Piano Concerto with the Boston Pops Orchestra at age 11, he has developed international recognition as a solo pianist. Kuerti has performed with major orchestras including Boston Symphony, the New York Philharmonic, National Symphony (Menuhin), and more. The recipient of numerous awards, in 2007 he received two more prestigious accolades: the Schumann Prize of the Schumann Gesellschaft in Germany, and the National Arts Prize of the Banff Centre in Canada.

ANTON NEL is a professor of piano and chamber music at the Butler School of Music where he heads the division of keyboard studies. He is the winner of the 1987 Naumburg International Piano Competition and has performed throughout the Americas, Europe, Asia, and South Africa. He has regularly collaborated with some of the world’s foremost instrumentalists and singers.
